6-Bed Licensed Board and Care

  • A highly structured daily schedule, within the context of a warm and loving home environment;
  • Customized care plans tailored to meet each individual’s stated needs, strengths, and goals;
  • On-site social worker to provide counseling and case management services;
  • Activities designed to integrate residents into the community, through work, volunteerism, and leisure/recreation;
  •  Independent living skill-building and enrichment, with the goal of transitioning to an apartment or other community—based setting;
  • Curriculum designed to foster emotion self-regulation, relapse prevention and medication self-management;
  •  Active engagement with families;
  •  Opportunity, for those interested, to live and practice their Jewish faith in ways meaningful to them;
  • 24/7 highly trained direct care personnel on-site.

 

6-Unit Supported Independent Living Apartments

  • The two 3-bedroom homes provide a continuum of care for individuals who have “graduated” from the main residence.
  • These on-campus supported independent living homes provide a stable, safe, and well-appointed environment as the residents become increasingly independent and can more fully integrate into the community;
  • Dedicated Residential Counselor provides  independent living skill development and support;
  • Weekly support sessions with a social worker to monitor progress and prevent symptom exacerbation;
  • Facilitated community engagement;
  • Opportunity to engage in independent shopping and meal prep, or to participate in the Board and Care meal program

 

The campus

  • Is modern, well-appointed, and comfortable;
  • Offers beautiful outdoor spaces to relax, garden, socialize, etc.
  • Is in walking distance to Escondido shopping, cultural centers, gardens, medical care,  clubhouse, and YMCA (which offers free gym memberships to residents)
