With 1 in 3 individuals impacted by mental illness, the need for resources has never been greater. Yet, the number of licensed residential care facilities has dwindled steadily since the 1980’s. Without access to residential and treatment services, individuals with mental illness will end up on the streets, incarcerated, or in other unsafe environments.
