Debora A. Rodriguez, MRC, RCFE

Debbie serves as our Executive Director and has been a leader in the field of non-profit health and human services for more than 25 years.  She obtained a BA from Indiana University, and her Master’s of Rehabilitation Counseling from Bowling Green State University.  Debbie also has her California Residential Care for the Elderly (RCFE) Administrator’s License.

Debbie has worked with a variety of populations, including older adults, individuals with developmental disabilities, those with mental illness, and people living with addiction disorders.  She has facilitated many agency mergers, new business ventures, and social enterprises, as well as operational contracts with large entities, such as the Cleveland Clinic.  She has participated in local, state-wide and national Boards, and was a founding member of the Mental Health and Addiction Advocacy Coalition in Ohio, as well as being appointed a member of the Governor’s Task Force on Drug Abuse and Addiction, also in Ohio.

Debbie loves this work, and is passionate about justice, equity, and opportunity for all.  This is what drives her and energizes her – and she is very excited to be a part of the critical mission of Hope Village San Diego.

Dana Glasser, MSW

Dana serves as our Residential Advisor for the two Chesed Home supported independent living residences of Hope Village. She comes to us with a great deal of experience. Dana received her BSW and MSW from SDSU. She received her clinical training from UCSD Outpatient Psychiatrics and Sharp Cabrillo Hospital. She conducts individual and group therapy, med management, assessment treatment and discharge planning. She specializes in depression, anxiety and suicide prevention. She held a position on both the Chesed Home and Post Partum Depression Alliance and worked on the Warm Line for many years. She has also worked as an administrator for an optical company. Dana is accumulating her hours and working towards her LCSW. Dana was raised in a Jewish home and embraces Jewish values. She is married with children and lives in San Diego.

Yvette James

Yvette James serves as Operations Manager and Administrator for Chesed Home. She earned her Adult Residential Facility Administration Certification in 2008 in San Diego, and has been a service provider for individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities, dual diagnosis, and addictions through out San Diego County and Northern California since 2000. Hope Village San Diego has opened up a new door for Yvette, where she has learned a great deal and continues to grow, particularly in thee area of Operations Management. She continues to enjoy the art of caring and supporting folks that come to Chesed Home, and the community-at-large. In addition to her work at Hope Village San Diego, Yvette is a very passionate and hard-working mother, wife and business owner.
